LETTER FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Dear Readers,

This is the path we in Acacia are treading as we continue to catch and empower them young, giving them
the necessary tools they need to become productive and responsible thereby facilitating their
developmental process.
The seed that was sowed in June 2008, is already bearing fruit as the beneficiaries of the
GLTP at Elekahiah are setting the pace in their school community, organizing their club meetings and
taking up leadership responsibilities. This has given us great courage to move on. We are cultivating new
farmlands all thanks to all our donors (Individuals who believe in the future of Nigeria).
In october 2008 we organized a reproductive health project for twenty girls in Elekahia and thereafter on
the 20th-22nd of Nov 2008 fifty girls participated in the Girls Leadership Training Project.
I invite you dear friends to read about our endeavors, unravel the girls' challenges and share their
testimonies.
Finally, our donors contributions will remain indelible in our history as we welcome your donations in cash
